Dimiter Syrakov

Prof, DSc, PhD

Dimiter Syrakov holds a PhD in Spectral Theory of Non-homogeneous Turbulence and DSc in Decision Support System for Hail-Protection Operations. He has been an Associate Professor at the Sofia University, Bulgaria, lecturing Synoptic Meteorology and Numerical Weather Forecast. Currently, he is a Professor in the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology and in the National Institute og Geophysics, Geodesy and Geographics with Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. His main research fields are atmospheric turbulence, PBL modelling, air pollution modelling, and emergency response systems. He is involved in many national and international research projects and he is author of more than 200 articles published in national and international journals and conference proceedings.
