Petya Trifonova
PhD, MSc, BSc.
Dr. Petya Trifonova is an Assoc. Professor at NIGGG-BAS, Head of the Geomagnetic survey group. She has over 15 years work experience, including teaching of MSc and PhD students. Petya has expertise in geophysical data processing, gravity and magnetic inverse modelling and interpretation. Working with other departments she delivers projects in a wide range of sectors including seismic hazard evaluation, natural disasters and risk management in regions covering the territory of south eastern Europe and particularly the Balkan countries.
